Q: Do I need my own Domain Name? Can I get it from you?
You do need your own domain name. I do not provide that service for one major reason. When you buy your domain name through your hosting company they own the domain name. You may have been paying for it, but it is part of their account and therefore they have control over how it is managed and maintained. You have no control.

When you buy your domain name through a 3rd party service (such as GoDaddy), you retain all control and can manage it how you see fit. While we do not provide you with a domain name, we can manage it for you if you choose. Simply list us as tech support on your domain account and we can assist with any linking that needs to be done while you retain ultimate control. Simply use the techsupport@awebprezenz.com email address and Domaris as the contact name when setting it up with your domain registrar.

Q: What is a nameserver? And how do I change them?
DNS nameservers are in essence your domain's roadmap to finding your website. From the internet, you can simply type in your domain name to find your site, but your domain name can't use this method. Each hosting company will have their own nameservers registered with the internet governing agency. Once your domain finds the correct web host, the host simply matches it to an account of the same name. It is like finding the right club and then they check your name at the door before letting you in. The nameservers are your directions to the club.

You can change your nameservers through your domain registrars management panel. When you purchased your domain name you should have received an account username and password to allow you access to manage your domain listing. Once you log in you may need to consult the help screen to find out where the nameservers are listed. To change these nameservers simply type the following into the first 2 text boxes: ns1.awebprezenz.com ns2.awebprezenz.com

There may be more text boxes, these should remain blank. You only need the primary and secondary nameservers filled in. It may take up to 72 hours for this change to filter down through the internet, so be patient. Once this is completed your website can be accessed from your domain name. If you would prefer, you can give us limited access and we will take care of changing the nameservers for you.

Q: When one of my tennants moves out, can I just re-list the property without having to re-enter the details?
One of the benefits of using our listing interface is it allows you to keep ALL your listings saved on your site. In the listing information there is a drop-down menu labeled 'Viewable To Public'. Index this to YES and your listing is viewable on the public side of your website. Anyone who is looking through your searchable properties will see this property as well. If you select NO then this listing is viewable from behind your admin page only. No one visiting your website from the public internet will be able to see this listing. This way you can create the listings for the property once and simple enable or disable viewing as need be.

Q: Is my website going to look like like everyone else's?
While all the sites come standard with the same skins loaded, you do have 7 to choose from. Your site will be branded with your unique domain name and colors can be modified if necessary. We also offer the option of a custom skin if the 7 stock skins don't work for you. If you have a business card design that you would like transferred to your site, we can do this.

Another option is to look into loading in an additional skins package. We have several to choose from. With all the options, you are bound to find the right look for your real estate investor website.

Q: What if I get stuck or delete something?
The website is designed for you to play with it. There is nothing you have access to that we can't reload if need be. If while you are playing with your site you accidentally delete something or manage to get the formatting all messed up, don't worry we can fix it. Either send us a tech-support email or if we are online, open up a live chat session. We are more than happy to assist you in any way we can.

This also holds true if you just have no idea where to go from here as well. You don't have to have a real problem to contact us. Q: Is being online really going to make any difference?
Having yet another way for prospective tenant/buyers to find you is always a good business move. An online presence will position you to get the most exposure for your properties. A survey of some of our clients show that they receive about 30-40% of their business directly from their website. They even have some prospects who've bookmarked their site just in case something comes up. Letting your website follow-up with new availabilities to interested visitors is definitely going to save you time and money.

Q: What other features are included in my package?
Along with any aWebPrezenz website you also have 5 email address that you can configure however you wish. By using your cPanel access you can define and direct these email addresses wherever you need to. You can even set up auto responders if you would like, and we can help you with this.

If you have a need for extra storage space so you can store your important documents online, we can help with that too. We have an option that provides you with an FTP account and access to your own private virtual desktop. You can store documents related to your properties, blank forms, checklists... Just about anything you can think of. Just send us an email with virtual desktop in the subject line and we will start the process for you. Simply include your name, your domain name and a way to contact you and we will do the rest. The fee for this extra access is just $4.97/month or $49.97/year added to your current aWebPrezenz website hosting fees.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of properties I can list?
There is no limit to the number of listings you can create. Once they are created, you can decide which ones are publicly viewable and which ones are to remain hidden. The only limitations is the pictures you can upload. Since graphics take up considerable space, you are permitted 5 photos per listing.

From your admin panel, you can sort your listings by address, keyword, last modified, etc. to make it easier to find the one you are looking for. So, don't worry about having to many to manage. Just about any way you can think of to filter and sort your listings, we have provided you with that option.

Q: What if my phone number changes or I need to change some of my company information? Am I going to have to wait for you to make these changes to my site?
From inside your admin panel you have complete control over your company information. From the 'Site Config' widow you have several tabs that allow you to make modifications to the setup of your site. From the 'General' tab you can change your company information. From the 'Template ' tab you can select which skin you would like to use as default. There is even an 'SEO' tab that allows you to play with and modify your META tags and other search engine optimization tasks.

Most of the tabs you will never need to play with, but they are there just in case. You have complete control since it is your website. We want you to be able to be an intricate part of its success and ultimately yours.

Q: I have a special report I want my prospects to be able to download. Can I set this up myself?
Yes. You have a page on your site called 'Downloadable Documents'. This page comes pre-loaded with a generic PDF version of a lease application. You can load any documents you wish onto this page. You have a limit of 5 documents and they need to be in some sort of document format such as PDF, DOC or TXT.

From your admin panel under the 'Edit My Account' icon you can upload these documents. Make sure the document you want is on your computer then simply select the file from a drop down 'Browse...' option, give the file a name, add a description and select the order of which you want them displayed on the page. That's it.

Q: On a couple of the skins there is a place for a photo. How do I get this photo to show up?
A couple of the skins are set up to show your photo or a company logo (or whatever other photo you wish) on the left hand side menu bar. The skin comes standard with a 'No Photo' graphic. If you wish to add your photo you can simply upload it from your admin panel. From the 'Edit My Account' icon you will notice an option on the left hand side for uploading images. There should already be a 'No Photo' graphic uploaded. Simply select to upload another image and then using the 'Browse...' pull-down find the image you want on your computer. Make sure it is in a standard graphic format such as GIF, JPG or PNG. Next to the 'No Photo' image select to delete this image. Now your photo will appear on the skins with this provision.
